Space to do the work with Ash William, our Decriminalizing Abortion resident

Ash

Ash Williams is an anti-carceral and reproductive justice organizer. For the last four years, he has been vigorously fighting to expand abortion access by funding abortions and training other people to become abortion doulas. In 2022, Ash ran a BIPOC-focused abortion doula training series with Project NIA or as our Decriminalizing Abortion resident. During his time with PN, Ash trained dozens of Black and other nonwhite folks to provide gender-affirming, emotional, and informational support for different types of abortion in their communities. Hear about his early background with organizing and advocacy as well as a breakdown of his training series.
